sweet friends make everything easier.

I have had a hard time with health as of recently and my friends are simply amazing. my dear, sweet pals are always looking out for me and checking in on me. even to the extent of inviting me on their own shoots!

one of my best friends- Rachel Watlington with Rachel Megan photography did this for me recently. Knowing I was under the weather, she invited me out to meet the expecting Black Family.

the Blacks were lovely, and pleasantly surprised by the addition of a second shooter to their session, and I got to get out of my stuffy house and make art!

we wandered around Lake Hefner as Adara and Talon spent time with their son in the sun, playing in the water and tall grass, just soaking up the moment before their sweet daughter arrived earthside.

my dear friend took me to dinner after as we caught up, and it's the moments like this that make me feel seen. she went out of her way to invite me out, unprompted to do what I love.
